How does the EUROPEAN COUNCIL OF AMERICAN CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE (ECACC) serve its members?

 

 

  • keeping them informed of developments in the United States, Chamber host countries and the European Community;
  • expressing the views of American business interests abroad in matters affecting trade and investment, taxation matters concerning international trade and investment, and public attitudes towards American businesses;
  • communicating business positions to the U.S. Congress on existing and proposed legislation of interest to American firms abroad, American residents outside the United States, and trading partners of American firms and European investors in the United States;
  • acting as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information and ideas regarding matters of common interest to members; and 
  • organizing meetings to promote networking and cooperation between member chambers.

ECACC publication


The 2009 edition of European American Business is now available.  This publication has been produced for the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce by Roxby Media Ltd. (RML).

 

European American Business is designed as a comprehensive source of information for those US companies who are looking to invest or expand directly into Europe.  

 

As well as including practical advice on a number of topics, the book also introduces individual European countries explaining the incentives and advantages that they can offer inbound US business.
